There is no better way to improve your General English and to get an internationally-recognised English language exam than to take a Cambridge Exam Preparation Course.

Here at the Islington Centre for English, we run courses for both the First Certificate of English (FCE) and the Cambridge Advanced English (CAE). These are General English exams that really lift your level of English proficiency whilst also giving you the chance to prove your English skills with a recognised English language certificate.

Passing the Cambridge exam will enhance your CV and show any potential employer you have a good level of English. Indeed, an FCE pass is the level at which someone can ‘function well in an English-speaking office environment.’  The more advanced CAE certificate is now accepted for entrance in nearly as many universities as IELTS.
